The first German Shorthaired Pointer litter of the year has arrived here on our little slice of heaven in Northeast Arkansas. This combination is one we have been thinking about making happen for some time now.

The first time we witnessed Stark work a field we knew Tikka was the one we wanted to pair him with. His capability and enthusiasm in navigating terrain was remarkable.

That is why we were so excited when we were able to utilize Stark (Hunt’ Em Up’s Winter is Coming MH) as the sire for this litter. We cannot wait to see how these pups develop and grow as well as what they accomplish in the coming years. Stark is known for his exceptional tracking abilities, obedience, and keen nose. Tikka (WOCC’s Tikka T Ninety-Nine), the dam, brings her own strengths to this pairing, including her drive and strategic approach to fieldwork. With parents like these two, these pups are sure to be top of the line in terms of intelligence, natural ability, and drive.

2026 marks our 11th year breeding these wonderful dogs. Throughout these years, we have gained much knowledge and experience, learning more about the breed and their capabilities every day. The possibilities that this breed offers are virtually endless. We have had the pleasure of seeing our pups excel in various activities, from hunting pheasants and grouse in the expansive fields of the Dakotas to showcasing their agility and skill in dock diving competitions down in southern Florida.

Every dog we breed enhances our knowledge of the breed's potential, and we are eager to see how this litter will shape our future. The process of breeding and raising German Shorthaired Pointers is full of joy, challenges, and numerous rewards (such as a freezer stocked with pheasant, a lifelong snuggle companion, and a permanent tractor ride buddy on the farm). We are excited to share these experiences with the new families who will welcome these pups into their homes soon!
